These are an ideal upgrade to do when your gearbox is apart. Made from billet chromoly steel, these are designed to last longer and give a better shift feel from being more rigid and providing more surface area. The increased surface area keeps the synchro straight when shifting, ensuring a positive engagement of the gear.

When considering used parts, ask yourself, is it really worth it? In light of some recent issues we have helped rectify for customers, they were all easily avoidable but some basic checks and questions were not completed.

Attached is an example. We provide crack testing services and these photos show why. The cracks are not always visible to the eye, but by using a UV Light and special dye, we can pick these up easily saving you not only in parts, but labour, oil and most importantly, TIME!!!

A few tips to help, especially at service time:
- Is there any pitting on the gears?
- Have they been crack tested, or do I have the means to get them crack tested?
- Are the parts modified in any way from new? The biggest one we see and advise against is recut dog profiles as they do not match and effect the heat treatment of the gear.
- Are the cases still fit for use? With the power cars make vs. what the OEM Components were designed, it is not uncommon to see stretched bearing journals. Especially older gearboxes or ones with repeated failures.

Remember, it may seem like a good idea, but in reality, can end up costing more in the long run.

A little while ago we did a collaboration with some great guys and companies on a gearbox for @robdahm and his Pikes Peak RX-7. Grab a seat, get comfortable and check out how he went in his newly released video (link below). Plenty of on board action!

This car is running our sequential system for the Tremec 6 Speed with our all out performance ratio set - straight cut gears with a 1:1 ratio 6th gear. If you know anything about the Tremec, it is not something seen often!

Big thanks to our partners @tickperformance for supplying additional parts and doing the assembly work and @mmemotorsport for the paddle shift kit.

As we keep on progressing with our own build, we have been working with some of the best in the industry for parts and advice and @drag_cartel is no exception to this. We have been lucky to work together for pretty much the history of both companies.

Off their recommendation, we sourced a set of cam shafts, modified cam gear and upgraded springs and retainers. Without hesitation, we have already fitted these and can't wait to share the results.

Finally, we get our turn! After years of working with each other on personal projects, customer projects and having the pleasure of doing PRI together, we get to finally get our hands on the ever popular GCU from @xineering

This GCU will work in conjunction with the stock ECU we are keeping in our Honda to provide us the ability to have closed loop up AND down shifts! We now get to have motorsport level controls and functionality for our gearbox.

How good do the new photos look of our Heavy Duty Synchro Set for the Nissan 5 Speed found in the GTR and RB25 GTST / R34 GTT!!!

Back due to popular demand, this run we upgraded the input shaft to have the same heavy duty GM 26-Spline as our dog box. This set is also compatible with our billet forks, sandwich plate and main shaft upgrades.

If you were one of the ones asking for us to bring this back you better act quick as we only have a couple left on the shelf. Avoid waiting and get yours now!

Our next piece of the puzzle is here for our project Sequential Civic. New wider and much nicer looking wheels combined with some semi slicks will compliment the other mods we still have to show you.

If you weren't aware, we had our own Honda Civic Type R to develop our K-Series Sequential. Given the testing was signed off, we thought we would take advantage and take our car a little further. With the first of the parts starting to come in, keep an eye out for more updates with it.

Whilst we would love to go all out with it, we are going to keep it simple but effective with some tasteful mods.
